When “The Friends Experience: The One in Vegas” debuts at MGM Grand later this year, it will coincide with the 30th anniversary celebration of the classic NBC sitcom. Stacy Moscatelli, CEO of Original X Productions, highlighted Las Vegas as an ideal destination, citing its popularity among millions of ‘Friends’ fans and its integral role in the show’s iconic moments.
Although the attraction features replicas rather than original sets and props — the latter displayed at Warner Bros. in Burbank — “The Friends Experience” offers fans a chance to interact closely with recreated environments like Central Perk coffee shop. Visitors can relive memorable scenes, such as moving the couch upstairs while pretending to yell at Rachel to pivot, or dressing up like Joey in Chandler’s clothes, all while capturing photos to cherish.
“The Friends Experience” has toured 24 cities and currently resides in Miami, with an upcoming stop in Boston. Its permanent New York City location has been operational for five years. The Las Vegas venue marks its second flagship location in the U.S., promising an immersive experience that invites fans of all ages to participate in the sitcom’s nostalgia.
Details regarding the opening date and ticket sales for “The One in Vegas” have yet to be disclosed, but fans can visit FriendsTheExperience.com/Vegas to sign up for notifications.
